Jans Sikkenga

Jans was born on January 28th, 1881.  Jans' father was Derk Sikkenga and his mother was Grietien Veen van der.  His paternal grandparents were Jans (geboren Rensje) Sikkenga and Geessien Meppelink of Meppeling. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Albertus, Geesje and Anna.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 61 on March 27th, 1942.
