lambert was born on February 15th, 1891 in Veenoord (Sleen).1 Lambert's father was lambert Weerman and his mother was fennechien (Fennigje) Boer. His paternal grandparents were harmannus Weerman and hendrikje (Hinderkien) Alberts; his maternal grandparents were Lambert Boer and Johanna Renting. He had three brothers and two sisters, named hermannus, Hermannus, Hendrik, hendrikje and Hendrikje. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named johanna. He died at the age of 88 on January 31st, 1980.Death Notes

he was not named after his grandfather Harmannus, contrary to naming traditions. Probably this was because his father's father-in-law, lambert Boer, died young and was already dead when Lambert's first son was born. In this case, tradition prescribed a different naming convention.
